In September 2024, President Putin increased the size of the Russian military to 1.5 million active-duty troops.

No he didnt.

He ordered the size or the military to be increased to 1.5 million.

It’s impossible to know what the true attrition rate and recruitment rate is but here is one report:

“Researchers at the independent Russian media outlet Meduza have calculated that Putin's army is losing more soldiers per day than it can recruit.

They found that Russian casualties amounted to between 600-750 individuals per day, whereas only 500-600 new contracts are being signed per day”



If Putin had loads and loads of soldiers he wouldn’t need to get them from North Korea
