I just realised I've had my van for 7 years and never put any adblue in. Dunno if it needs it though? 2013 Peugeot Expert 2.0 litre. My mechanic added something for the dpfs in the exhaust about 3 years ago if that's connected.

Don't think adblue was around in 2013.
Look in manual or online.

No, it won't have. The stuff they put in, as Burnerman suggests, would have been Eolys, to help regenerate the particulate filter. Cars with AdBlue will have a separate filler cap for the AdBlue. They'll also warn you when you're getting low. Regulations demand that they give progressively more urgent warnings as it gets closer to running out. When the AdBlue does run out, they won't re-start (again, a regulatory requirement, and a again, the car will tell you that re-start will not be possible if you run out). Diesel cars started needing AdBlue from about September 2015, though some managed to meet the emissions requirements without it for another couple of years.

Not adblue, possibly Eolys fluid......the French, in true fashion, started using Eolys around this time but many vans escaped with just a stage one Cat.
John :)

How do I check the levels of it?

Most Eloys tanks are awkward to deal with.....it’s usual to rely on the dash board warning to tell you, and then you have around 2000 kms to deal with it.
I suspect though, your van has escaped this!

Think my mechanic changed it three years back. Something flashed up two years back when the tank that deals with the diesel in the exhaust broke. No idea if eloy warning flashes up. There's a spanner icon at the moment for something. No idea what

Does the oil look ok?

You can't tell the quality of the oil by looking at a discoloured dipstick - especially on the older diesels.
Maintain the oil level at all times and have it changed, with a filter, every 6k miles.
