38% in a year is good, in a company with continued growth and good prospects. But not one that goes up like a rocket and down like the stick.

Tesla does not have an attractive profile. I notice you didn't buy any either so I deduce you are not a true believer.
 
You two still banging on about how good Tesla is as an investement??
As something to buy and forget?
It's terrible!
You can hold or sell it short term and make a lot, but that's different.

WHy would anyone lose a lot trading it? Or trading anything for that matter? If the position goes against you, you close. Simples. You really really really don't have a clue, do you!?

I checked - can't check much on my platform but I've bought Tesla to keep overnight about 10 times in the last months.
On CFD, leveraged 5x, short term maybe only a few minutes, up to a few hours, dozens of times.
On 6th APril I traded it 6% up, then 6% down again later in the day. Leverage x5 on that. I didn't check the amount. Per £100 of margin it would have made £60. ( 5x (6%+6%) = 60%).
If it had gone backwards you'd bail out at about -1.5 - 2%, so -£10. You get it positive more than half the time if you wait a bit, so even if it doesn't go far you scrape your money back. If you have 100k on it then you allow a lot less.
When really tired you decide to give it more of a chance, then you lose!

Nasdaq will be well down tomorrow when the market opens - I hope...

How many of Pru, L&G, RR, MKS, Fres, IMB, NWG LL, IAG, plus BATS RIO and AV for the divs?
Did you take the recent hits?

I bought some NVIDIA on Friday. It will lose money short term. But I think the fall will start to ease this week.

no sh1t sherlock did you miss that is what i actually said , can you quote anywhere that i said i was going to buy them unlike notchy claiming he was going to buy more than the premium bond limit and getting caught lying
