Did you miss the contracts that musk companies have been getting for well over a decade . I wonder if star link got the contract by proving they could do something that nasa couldn't and bring home the stranded astronauts

In China the Sealion 7 starts at 190,000 and tops out at 240,000. The Y starts at 260,000 and tops out at 300,000.

That's not 3%, the Tesla is 1/3 more expensive and the features you get are very similar. Except for the drones, Tesla don't have integrated drones.

Right now BYD are very expensive in the UK compared to the rest of the world. Probably in part because they're building out their supply chain here and don't want to try to shift volume, so they're going for higher margin.
