Google scholar is pretty good, lets you compare peer reviewed studies and the like.
Yes used that a bit, our lecturers at Uni would put all of our papers through a checking software to look for plagerism, a few got kicked off the course for this, they just used google and cut and pasted everything. Only time we could recite other peoples work was to reference them and it was frowned upon except in context.

Not with google.
nutso.
You have to know the subject that you are researching first then search for the papers. relating to it from known trusted authors, it is way too much searching to find out anything. Be quicker to read books from the outset.
"trusted authors", he sez, then spaffs a wad of unsubstantiated gubbins from random quacks ducking and diving around the actual evidence. You may as well quote Graham Hancock.

Same here, hard to keep up with the cheaters though.
except when it came to lab time. Funny how they struggled with the practical aspect during any lab work but then miraculously produced a piece of complex software a week later complete with a written paper that you could only believe a Professor or Dr could have writtten.

Would that be the hancock whose theories have so often debunked the so called main stream

Interest is not the same as academic research,..

Yes.
And no.

I read his book on the Ark of the Covenant in the early 80s and maintained an interest in his theoretical view on ancient history, but there's still no substantial evidence to credibly confirm any of them. He tells a good story, nothing more. His website is full of good stuff, though: a mix of scientific research, theoretical articles and pure guesswork. Have a look sometime.

so you dont think it could have been the same people using their existing knowledge ?
I really don't know what you're on about, sorry. It would just be simpler if you said what you actually believe.

i have told you what i believe it wasnt ancient egyptians that history speaks about

Because you keep grilling me on the detail and expect explanations. But you have nothing.
