This is knocking and water is leaking from somewhere you can't see what's causing it?

As said above.
If it's lifted, due to overpressure whilst heating, it may not have reseated again when cold, so is still letting by.

It needs assessing by someone with the G3 ticket.
 
Thanks , so looking at it is the problem with the way he left it that there's no tundish?
 
Ok what is the problem as I have had the first plumber that fitted it that said he was qualified, and the second one that serviced it whos advert also said he was qualified and the he specialised in unvented electric heaters.
 
I have invoices from both and one left a sticker on the side of the cylinder
 
Is there a list of qualified plumbers with this qualification somewhere?

Stand back and show the cylinder and any expansion vessel.
Just the safety valve doesn't show us much.
