No they only have rights to enter French territorial water under rights of innocent passage, contravening French immigration laws is not innocent passage.

This would allow them to be intercepted in French waters by any vessel who deemed them to be in distress.

They are refused entry to UK waters, using the necessary steps.

How long do you think the home made rib with 5 gallons of fuel and a fake 15hp outboard can sit there in a standoff against a comfortable coastal ship with several thousands litres of diesel, water, toilet, heating etc.

They are either illegally on course to enter UK waters and can be lawfully repelled or they are a vessel in distress in French waters.

Can the UK economy grow without large scale immigration.

Yeah they're both as sh1te as each other. Regardless of ones view of Reform, it's easy to see why some are attracted to them.
