War Crimes...

They joined the HY voluntarily.
The SF stand accused of shooting children in their homes.

Can you spot the difference?
Even in their beds.
gas can't tell the difference between 10's or 100's of armed young soldiers and children sleeping in their beds.

members of the SAS murder unarmed people in their sleep and execute handcuffed detainees, including children.

oh i see no militia kids took their weapons inside and slept with them they left them at the front door
You can't have seen the reports. So you are talking from a position of ignorance.
members of the SAS murder unarmed people in their sleep and execute handcuffed detainees, including children.

"They handcuffed a young boy and shot him," recalled one veteran who served with the SAS in Afghanistan. "He was clearly a child, not even close to fighting age."

Killing of detainees "became routine", the veteran said. "They'd search someone, handcuff them, then shoot them", before cutting off the plastic handcuffs used to restrain people and "planting a pistol" by the body, he said.

gas is struggling with his numbers again. :ROFLMAO:
You do realise that all units are not deployed to the same battle fronts the Germans were fighting on several fronts and also units held in reserve. . Are you on the wine or white marching powder ?

I did not suggest sweeping it under the carpet, did I?
I didn't suggest that you did. But you did appear to want to excuse it.
of course such actions are wrong and shouldnt happen

but it has to be taken in context:
I just think it should be dealt with in a more open and harsh, when it is found to have happened, and not kept hidden.
I think its best kept out of the media as much as possible -sensationalising it is not helpful

Im not saying sweep it under the carpet, if there are war crimes that need investigating, that should be done, people have a right to justice even in war, but turning it into a years of a witch hunt is no good for the military and no good for the victims
It's been turned into a witch hunt due to the years of denial.
The years of holding back the flood has caused the dam to fail spectacularly.

And at present all they are is allegations and can you quote me saying killing innocents is right. I am pointing out age and situation doesn't always make someone innocent
Being asleep in a bed, or handcuffed and presenting no danger is very different to standing in line and holding a gun.
If you can't tell the difference, it's a good job you're a plumber.

Never been a plumber in my life yet again something you have got wrong. You are on a bit of a roll tonight

Odd that you say this as you gave the example of the holocaust in a reply to me. Here’s a wink for you. ;)
That's weird because I can't find any post of mine with Holocaust in.
Be a good fellow and find it for me. Here's a rolling eyes for you.

... it is appropriate to investigate. The manner of the investigation is crucial ...
Yes. It should be open and impartial, free to call whatever witnesses it feels necessary.

Look yourself as you obviously cannot keep up with your comments, sort of shows how meaningless they are doesn't it.

Exactly this. Leave it to the MOD to investigate. Journalists want to sell papers.
Leave it to the soldires toinvestigate the soldiers,
That hasn't worked so far. Quite the opposite, it's created an atmosphere of denial, secrecy and suspected widespread war crimes.
That's not good for the service as a whole, nor for the international reputation of the UK.
If the UK and the US ignore the rules, why should other be expected to respect them.
In addiiton, if UK ignore the rules and blatantly break them, it's not surprising if IEDs and the like are used to cause maximum pain and innocent bystanders are considered 'collateral damage'.
