Hello, having not been in the business for many years I'm at a bit of a loss on this. I need to price some work and also pay someone to work with me. So does anyone have a rough idea? I know location is a consideration but any clues would be good.
The last time I did it prices were around £10 a meter but that was around the year 2002.
That didn't include putting in insulation but this first job does. Thanks is your can help.

At one point I heard £2 a block as a starting figure but you know the building trade. Prices are all over the place. So many factors to consider with building a wall. Access. Insulation. Cuts. Mixing ect.

30 to 60 a meter. Depends on access and brick/block type. That just be Labour
Sounds like for hiring someone I'd be better off paying a day rate?
