however....contracts, without financial penalty? No.How odd, the UK government demands right to terminate/termination for convenience in pretty much all its commercial dealings.
No. You'd need to be a dull sad old man to notice that.Anyone notice how notch never posts after 10.30pm - but starts at about 6.30am
You've quoted a UK Legal paper om UK's commitment to the ODA. Any penalties for unilateral withdrawal are usually contained within the Treaty itself, as was the case for Brexit. And look how much the existing commitments cost. With regard to foreign aid, the specific legislation you need to read is something called The International Development (Official Development Assistance Target) Act 2015. It sets out the requirement to spend 0.7%. If you go to section 3, it sets out the penalties for failing to meet the target. Oh wait.. it says there aren't any.

DiddumsAlthough there may not be any financial penalties for reducing the UK's contribution, the loss of international reputation and political capital would be felt far and wide.
I can fully understand how you care little for reputation.Diddums

If I was the prime minister, I would rather gain the respect from my own people before any others.I can fully understand how you care little for reputation.
A PM represents the people, not himself. If I was the prime minister, I would rather gain the respect from my own people before any others.

NoA PM represents the people, not himself.
See the difference?
You are so triggered you are posting about me after midnightAnyone notice how notch never posts after 10.30pm - but starts at about 6.30am - sad old man with nothing in his life other than this forum goes to bed at 10pm wakes at 6 am and then straight to his computer to post his rants -- very sad end to a wood workers life.
There's little hope.
You are a Reform supporterWrong - but I do think you have an acute mental problem - please get yourself some help.

NoSo it not an overseas commercial contract at all. It's under the auspices of an Act. Spending is or can be reduced but not arbitrarily cancelled - got it.
In terms of foreign aid spending, this statement...
...is meaningless.

Also no.Straying from the subject as per...
however....contracts, without financial penalty? No.
They are laid out in section 2If you go to section 3, it sets out the penalties for failing to meet the target. Oh wait.. it says there aren't any
