Ssssssshhhhhh, don't mention Reform.

If I was in the chanel and came across them, I would tow them back to France myself. It would have to be during the day though oh and I would have to have an instructor with me oh and I would need a boat too. So all these things aligned, I would have no hesitation.

Stop rattling on, you are wrong and the thread had ended at page 20. MBK has well explained it to you.
Motorbiking has got no solutions to small boat crossings.

His 2 scenarios are

1) British boats crossing into French waters to rescue migrants and take them to France…even if that was possible it would only account for a tiny % of boats

2) a British boat is positioned inside U.K. waters pushes back a boat so it stays inside French waters and it can stay there and do that indefinitely. Oh and if the boat becomes distressed, just a millimetres inside French waters, they can rescue them and France would say “oh that’s ok you are 10 millimetres inside French waters bring them over”

That’s just bolox

Scenario 1, is correct.
scenario 2, stop them entering British waters. They are not legally registered nor has their passage been logged.

Somehow I doubt that he is. wrong
I’ve told you where any why he is wrong

If you have a counter argument, please provide it

MBK is a Yacht Master (Ocean going) so you can bet your bottom dollar that he knows
logical fallacy: appeal to authority.

I dare say Motorbiking does know the truth…..but the truth doesn’t support what he is claiming.

You need to notify UK Border Force and HMRC when you depart from France on a pleasure craft heading to Great Britain.

Scenario 1 let’s say it’s correct (it’s not) what percentage does that cover

So what

a pushback on an unseaworthy, overloaded boat would put it in distress, so the British boat would have to rescue……and it’s nonsense to claim that France would allow migrants back in France rescued right on the maritime border….especially given that the pushback caused the distress.

It’s just bolox

You would not be putting the craft in distress by pushing or blocking its route forward.

So what

If you get pushed which causes distress you then need to be rescued…..and being right on the maritime border they have to be taken to UK
