I am not a supporter of any. In the past I have voted Labour - when the rest of the country did and blair got in, then I voted lib dems because I actually wanted to give a coalition go and got one. Then Conservative when I realised what snakes libdems were - rising fees when they said they would not. And definitely didn’t want a return of labour. latterly Conservatives as that was the only way to get brexit done.
So next time I might just vote reform and see what happens - everyone else has proved to be lying snakes - lets give reform a chance to be lying snakes.

Very true.
First you have to get a passport. And that's not easy in many countries. For example, countries that have conscription require proof of serving their time before a passport is issued. Or a passport is issued on a limited basis.
So for example,a Finnish citizen who objected to serving in the military could apply for a limited passport before serving, then claim asylum in another country to avoid being conscripted into the military. Their passport will expire, and they would not be able to renew it, without returning to Finland to serve their time.

Pakistan requires a personal interview for applicants.

There are other such problems for citizens of other countries.

Only about 8% of the global population hold a passport.

A friend was recently refused entry to Australian because their passport was a BTOC passport and they assumed it was equally acceptable to Australia for visa free entry.

So an offshore processing center would be of no use then, if you havent got a passport you still could not appy for assylum. So if I was fleeing persecution, once I had reached the first safe country is when I would stop. Why would I trek around the globe crossing several safe country's in order to get here? Invariably they end up in France to cross the chanel to get here. A bit obvious why they do this.
