Ssssssshhhhhh, don't mention Reform.

but they tried to make a new law and found out it was incompatible with existing laws
thats why new laws are made and old laws amended.
crossing borders is not a crime if you are wanting to claim asylum
You do actually have to claim asylum to avoid prosecution for you immigration offences and if your claim is not successful, you can be prosecuted.
that doesnt alter the fact that pushbacks on overloaded small boats in the open sea is incompatible with international laws and its dangerous
It could be - depends how you do it. These vessels are as unsafe when they depart, so perhaps the state should intervene, if as you say the state has an obligation to protect people from themselves.
yes you seem keen on giving the jobs to some Tommy Robinson thugs, I can see the day when they manage to drown a load of migrants, thatll go down well
The people who encourage and allow them to get in to small boats are the ones committing the crimes. If human rights trump all other rules, then we should be sanctioning the French for allowing it to happen.
I guess your idea is like bit like employing far right Proud Boys in USA in ICE
nonsense

There are no maritime laws which state the coastal state must accept migrants rescued in that states territorial, water.

“there are no clear criteria for choosing the place of safety. Pursuant to paragraph 4.8.5 of the SAR 2004, the initiative lies with the state in charge of search and rescue,168 while SOLAS Regulation V/34.1 emphasizes the individual captain’s discretion. The geographic situation is not decisive”

everything you post is supportive of Reform

why cant you just come out and say you support them
Wrong - everything I post is against Labour.
I am not a supporter of any. In the past I have voted Labour - when the rest of the country did and blair got in, then I voted lib dems because I actually wanted to give a coalition go and got one. Then Conservative when I realised what snakes libdems were - rising fees when they said they would not. And definitely didn’t want a return of labour. latterly Conservatives as that was the only way to get brexit done.
So next time I might just vote reform and see what happens - everyone else has proved to be lying snakes - lets give reform a chance to be lying snakes.
So I am the typycal floating voter I vote for who I think will be best for the country at the time. I am not wedded to any political dogma like you.
By the way who do you support - you have dodged that one.

You’ve been claiming for 80+ pages that pushbacks are legal

Now finally you’ve accepted that’s not true.
Nonsense, I’ve suggested that reform’s approach could work with a few tweaks. I’d be tempted to bid if they tendered it. You and Tommy tit have done a great job of coming up with every possible objection.

:ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

You’ve said many times that pushbacks are legal, you’ve quoted the rules that you claim prove it many times.

You’ve only come up with 2 solutions, both of which I have disproven using facts.

1) you claim British boats can enter French waters and collect migrants in distress and return them to France.
That only covers a tiny percentage

2) you claim that pushbacks are legal and your silly scenario is British boats stay in English waters and keep boats back in French water. A ludicrous idea.

Reforms approach is tow boats back to French coast……there’s no tweaks that are going to work on that, but you welcome to try,

A few tweeks will get the problem solved, they are on the right tracks. Other countries do it so why shouldnt we?

And it has been shown that most in the boats are genuine. But you want to push them back or shoot at them.
genuine refugees do not have 5K to pay traffickers and travel halway around the world to get here
