you need to read what you wrote: in particular the words "such cases must be CONSIDERED" (not automatically granted)

A claimant may claim that requiring them to leave the UK would breach their human rights due to a serious medical condition, which could be a physical illness or mental health issue. Such cases must be considered in accordance with our obligations under Articles 3 and 8 of the ECHR.
here is an example of a case of an Algerian claiming mental health making it unsafe to return

the decision of the appeal is: DISMISSED

I'm not going to make numbers up. But it does seem they number in the thousands. I don't think 50% will be claiming to be gay, to get asylum. Mental illness will be more acceptable in many cultures.

that, as a stand alone statement is demonstrably untrue



It is an Oxymoron anyway as the NHS exists only in the UK

these are appeals of the first ruling after a case worker has refused the claim. You do have to at least try to arm yourself with some knowledge.

Yes.

On a general note, there seems to be so much misinformation in the populist right bubble. There are fragments of the truth, but it all gets so distorted. I have decided, as a rule of thumb, to take any number my Reform voting friend gives me and divide it by ten!

Politics does seem to be your achilles when it comes to having an open mind. :LOL:
People are turning to Reform because they had A and voted for change and now B is looking worse than A, so you look at C.

I suspect A - will get rid of their leader and B will start to turn it around, they both have plenty of time.

Reform may have peaked too soon.
