In the first period, where we chose to let them in early, it was 700,000, according to the ONS figures discussed on here the other week.
You desperately want to blame immigration for all the problems in this country.
Why?
A = because you are easily persuaded by populism.
Populists need an enemy to rally support, first it was the EU and you fell for that, now you are falling for immigrants being all the problem.
Who will you be blaming next?
By the way did you vote for Thatcher in the 80s? She flogged 1.5m council houses, one of the catalysts for todays housing crisis.
Reform voters are simple people.
They want a manufactured enemy to shout at. First it was blame the EU for everything but now that hasn’t made things better, these people have turned to shouting at Immigrants.

Reform UK councillor Andy Osborn's comments were "clumsy and regrettable", his group leader says.
Osborn told the meeting, external, covered by the Local Democracy Reporting Service, that some children in care were "not just naughty children, they can be downright evil". He said he had heard of cases where youngsters were "smashing cars up", "running away from home" and were "on drugs". He added: "It is not just a case of somebody being a bad boy or a bad girl, it is a case of they have learnt from their bad parents not to react correctly."
Seems an unfortunate use of words.

Seems you aren't aware of the organisation, influence and control. Affiliated unions pay an annual fee to the Labour Party; in return, they elect thirteen of the thirty-nine members of Labour's National Executive Committee and fifty per cent of the delegates to Labour Party Conference. Local union branches also affiliate to Constituency Labour Parties and their members who are also individual members of the Party may represent the union as delegates on Labour Party structures.
Seems they have quite a bit of control.
Spreading misinformation and fake news. Others who get accused of doing so (by the right people ) get their post removed and banned.
It's interesting. Someone said the SNP were originally a protest party of sorts, the disruptor, arguing for independence. They are now an established party and, after 18 years in power, many Scots are fed up with their rhetoric and lack of delivery. The person went on to say in a way, Reform can now be looked on in Scotland as the protest party, the disruptor.
They did well in Hamilton, maybe 3rd but look at their share of the vote. Ok it's only a by-election, however I wouldn't be at all surprised if they do quite well in our 2026 Scottish elections.
So they don’t have control.
I am glad we’ve cleared that up and you agree that my first statement was entirely correct.
