I do not see any wealthy people in these immigrants. They are not living the dream or have any prospects. Just because they appear to be happy living like this the fact remains they are not U.S citizens and never had a hope of ever being one either.

Tough life isn't it. Unfortunately them being happy doesn't make them a U.S citizen so off they go.There have been pathways to citizenship in the past. Also, they know their children will be US citizens. That is a massive factor. I knew a bunch of Brazilians working illegally in the USA many years ago. They were always really happy.
