ICE agents are now routinely making arrests whilst wearing plain clothes with no identification and their faces covered with a mask

The countless videos of apparent ICE raids show federal agents with their faces covered, wearing plain clothes without a badge or identification, which prompted protesters to call the detainment “illegal abductions.”

Even Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass said she does not know the identities of federal agents who are taking people into custody.

“Who are these people?” Bass asked last week during a news conference. “We're not sure who these armed men are. They show up without uniforms, they show up completely masked. They refuse to give ID, they're driving regular cars with tinted windows and in some cases, out of state license plates.”

You get the impression that notch is in an iron lung and has absolutely nothing else to do other than find the most obscure websites he can.

The only obscurity is the dubious methods the agents employ, maybe the proud boyz have found employment.

Aveatry, are you suggesting that it is not happening?

Whose definition is it that the conduct is unlawful?
Is it lawful for a person to get taken off the street by a bunch of unidentified people?

If the public don’t have the right to know who is arresting them, any bounty Hunter or vigilante can do it.

Is that okay?

It may be very troublesome. But is it actually unlawful under the applicable US laws.

It’s in America.

Nothing to see here
Yes what’s happening in America is the result of a morally corrupt populist gaining power.

The U.K. has a morally corrupt populist desperately trying to gain power, so it’s highly relevant to British citizens.

Yeah I think so - in the US, there is no federal law requiring them to ID themselves - different agencies have different rules however.

In the UK that would not be true.

I really don’t care about the USA. Labour are acting in very odd ways to say the least and they are IN POWER
