Miele WT2670 washing machine lost power

Current thinking is that maybe we can life the front and wedge a solid wooden broomstick under the machine, towards the back, we can rock the machine forward and get the remaining back foot over the obstacle.

Could you perhaps loop a rope, over the machine, so it lands at the top rear - then pull on that, to get the rear feet up from the floor?

Washing machines, typically, only have solid parts around the perimeter, with bits of frame underneath, but generally open with access to the internals.

So we managed to find an old wooden broomstick and it did the trick - the machine is finally freed.
We plugged the machine into a different socket, using an extension lead, and it worked fine.
So then we plugged it back into the original socket, and it still works fine.
So we're no wiser re. the cause of the problem

Could be a loose connection or intermittent faulty socket where the original washing machine was plugged into.

When plugged in and working wriggle the washing machine cord and see if it turns off.

Wriggling the cord when it was working again was the first thing that we tried - it was fine.
The machine was in the middle of a wash cycle (not a spin cycle) when it died, so not vibrating as much as it can. I'd be surprised if the vibration dislodged the plug, particularly as it's been working fine since the new kitchen (with new electrics) was fitted 4 years ago. It's plugged into a 2-gang socket, alongside the dishwasher. No problems with the dishwasher, so far...

I think we'll leave it out for a couple more washes, and if the problem doesn't recur then put the machine back in place but use an extension lead to plug it in, placed in a location where we can access it without having to pull the machine out again.
Oh and we'll find a secure location for the magic broomstick :0)
