Why don't the French authorities have multiples more border patrol bods on the beaches? If the gang leaders then started bringing the boats into the shore area from deeper water (knowing the border bods weren't allowed to wade into the water) why not have a good few more patrol boats constantly patrolling the area to render the boats unusable before migrants can wade out to them?
