Biker has failed to find anything supporting his previous lie of using "JohnDs invest-time-machine, where I can look back and pretend I invested in historically high performing stock."

It is not true that I look back and pretend I invested in historically high performing stock.

That is a lie Biker invented.
Nobody is interested in your pretend investments.

I did not "make the claim" that Biker has been falsely alleging.

I didn't say you did.
You won't answer my question. LIke @Mottie says we get evasion and ignorance,
trying to turn to the complaint you've made about a dozen times.
Honesty? No, none of that.

Except you and Justin. Pages and pages of interest, lol.
It's not about the investments, you're missing the point.
It's about being straight. Not something we can expect, it's becoming more obvious.
We have non answers, no denials, but deleted posts.

Best not to fight the Troll. You both get shtty but the Troll who lives in it, enjoys it.

I asked you some questions. Which you refuse to answer.

1) Did you fairly recently - or ever - say something around 60%, or 64% return?
2) If so, did you say what it came from?
3) Has any such post been deleted?

Seems clear to me.

You and MBK accuse JD of making a claim i.e.

JohnDs invest-time-machine, where I can look back and pretend I invested in historically high performing stock.

I have read numerous Brexit bashing posts where JD has posted up numbers and graphs showing that post Brexit investments in Europe, out-performing those in the UK.

Just put up a link to the thread or statement...?

completely missing the point.

Anyone can post their "genius" investment skills four years after the fact. You have zero credibility, if you don't post: "I think X will do well because of Y, and I am buying some." At the time. Then you have credibility, when you show your gains.

For example:

I reckon IVV is good at below 260, PGHY sub 20.5 (still pays 5% income) and QQQ is a good buy in, for those who can't afford the time to pick individual stocks.

IVV is broadly spread across the S&P 500, PGHY is a High yield junk bond. QQQ is Nasdaq high tech focused.

In terms of short term losses - I've stopped looking at my pension and portfolio. It will all bounce back.
IVV & QQQ - Up 170-200%. PGHY down ~2% but pays dividends of over 7%.

I bought some NVIDIA on Friday. It will lose money short term. But I think the fall will start to ease this week.
Up 82% in just a few months.

With a Cash ISA the money you put in is the amount that you 'pay' to the account.
With a Stocks & Shares ISA there is a charge to set up or add to the ISA so you are unlikely to return an increase for some time so S&S ISA are definitely a long term investment. There may be charge to take money out.
I'm of the opinion that Rachel from Accounts doesn't understand investing; especially for the small investor.

If, as she says, she wants investment in UK business then I think she will have to set up a S&S scheme that 'only' invests in UK companies as most fund managers like to invest on a broad spread of companies and countries. So most S&S ISA fund managers invest more in non-UK companies. From what I see most UK companies give a lower return than what is acceptable to UK based fund managers which is why so many good UK companies are owned by overseas share or fund holders.

Wrong.

I am being more specific. See#261

And nothing to do with Brexit.
