Just started removing wallpaper from a plasterboard wall in a house I recently moved into. On two of the walls (pictured) it looks like the previous owners wallpapered directly onto plasterboard with no skim layer before. Struggling to only remove the wallpaper without also removing the original paper layer that is attached to the plasterboard. Is this a problem if parts of this are removed?
I intend to paint the wall so suspect I will need to get a plasterer in to skim these walls. Does a matter how I get the wallpaper off if I'm skimming it anyway?
Thanks!
