The last time in real life I heard somebody refer to "bloody P@kis" it was an elderly Indian client of ours. It was a real shock because she was such a sweetie.

The flight was from Qatar. Maybe the other man was from the Gulf.

I've never been accused of racially abusing anybody.

Why would I do it? Why would anybody ?

There's lots of people I like, and dislike, to varying stages. Race has nothing whatsoever to do with my likes and dislikes

Yes, in the '90s a black man trying to open my van to steal tools got caught by my friends in the pub car park.
They detained him (they didn't beat him) and he kept on calling them white ****s.
When I arrived on the scene after a couple of minutes I was angry and shouting at him, he called me an Italian ****.
Police arrived and he was arrested.
Later he was convicted of going equipped to steal and 3 counts of racial abuse.
He'd also called the coppers white ****s, so he couldn't deny his wrongdoings.
He pled not guilty and it went to magistrate court where we gave testimony.
After conviction he didn't bother appeal.
