For those of you old enough, what were you doing on this day in 1966?

You were working hard at crawling and beginning to walk and exercising your lungs shouting and screaming!
 
Cycled up to my sisters 8 miles away aged 14, wasn't really interested watching football but loved playing, weird??
 
never mind 66 looked who pumped them in their next game as world champions men against boys

My father was a boy soldier aged 15 when he went to the Army Apprentices College at Arborfield. He was in intake 48b, which I'm guessing is quite a bit earlier than yours. Until a couple of years ago he was still going to their annual reunions. Was a mechanic doing big stuff like Diamond Ts, tank transporters, etc, etc, also teaching recruits how to drive them. Also used to parachute Willys jeeps out of planes. Showed me some photos of the results of when it went wrong occasionally.
 
I think I was pooping my nappy and crying for my next bottle of milk (may have been my mums tit but I was too young to remember lol)
 
I was probably plugging an Avo meter into the mains to measure the Amps.
