hi, i'm looking for a suitable adhesive for bonding pavers (loose concrete slabs to concrete steps). Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thank you

hi Woody. Thank you for your suggestion. Sticking them on mortar mix was one of my options, though, I was hoping there might be a quicker and easier solution
Thanks

Thank you Nigel. I’ve heard about this adhesive. I’ll give it a go
All the best and many thanks again

Another vote for CT1. Not cheap, but will get to do the job.
Good old fashioned warhorse " Pinkgrip" would have been my go-to years ago.

Whichever you use, rub it into both surfaces before putting them together.

The solvent Pinkgrip was useless on outdoors or anything subject to wet. It was very brittle too. Ok with timber products. The polymer adhesives, especially premium gear like CT1 are ok.
I'm not sure Woodys' solution i.e. s/c is getting the credit it deserves.

Hmmm, are you on commission?
Its just a good all-round polymer, and I have used it a lot. I was working with an old bricky a few years ago and he asked me if it was any good. It was the end of the day, and there was still a bit left in the tube, so I stuck a brick to a concrete lintel and left it over night. next morning, I picked the brick up, and the concrete lintel was stuck solid.

Hi Noseall, Catlad, Woody, Nige and Simplesteve.
