OMG my brick slips are here

the pictures, he said look at the height of the tv cabinets
When I said

"Mine is on the wall but look at the height of TV cabinets - they are that height for a reason.
I meant look at the height of cabinets - as in look on google like this they are all low.

I think it would look a bit silly that low on the wall?
Mine is mounted so as to accomodate any average giraffe to watch the tv in comfort. I thought this was the best idea to take the worse case senario. Plus who knows how long your neck might grow. Better safe than sorry is my motto.

My tv is exactly 12.87 inches off of the floor....
is that to the top of the tv or the bottom ?

mine is 24" to the bottom - 50 to the top
I couldn't be doing with it mounted up a wall like some folk have them, probably end up with a bad neck trying to watch it

It would be a small TV if it's the top

Yep same as mine only its 55 to the top

Where is the chimney air vent.
I couldn't be arsed to put one in. If it was needed I could quite easily put one in at this stage but a lot of builders said it isn't necessary so I didnt. I am still trying to find out if one is really needed or not. Perhaps @noseall could advise on that? I do believe he knows his stuff on building stuff.

if unused the top should be capped but in a way to allow air and the bottom should have a vent. That what I have and that.s what this forum always says
