I’ve never said it was racist, have I ?Because you propose that proof that gammon is a racist term would be failure to provide any other examples. That is a logical fallacy.
I say it’s hate speech

It’s the reverse.Because you propose that proof that it is racist would be failure to provide any other examples. That is a logical fallacy.
He will leave the chat now……It’s the reverse.
You’d have to argue that it’s a unique insult based on skin colour that isn’t racist. While all the other insults based on skin colour are racist.
Given nobody can think of a single one, means it has to be unique. I think that is unlikely.

Its unnecessary. Attack the argument, the belief, the opinion, just don’t make it about skin colour and pretend.I’ve never said it was racist, have I ?

A derogatory insult based on skin colour is either racist or not racist. If it’s not racist, then give me another example applicable to a different skin colour.Utter nonsense.
You are setting up a logical fallacy in order to try to win an argument.
A derogatory insult based on skin colour is either racist or not racist. If it’s not racist, then give me another example.

Just one will do.I am not going to endorse the terms of your logical fallacy.
Just one will do.

What is the basis that you argue this particular slur based on the colour of a persons skin is not a racial slur.YAWN
You have had my answer three times.
I will not accept your premise, how ever many times you repeat your faulty logic.
It’s not straw man, it’s the truth, and you know it.YAWN

We’ve already established the term ‘gammon’ is derogatory and hate speech.
MBK has made a very, very good case for it being racist too.

I agree. I prefer not to refer to colour. Call them a berk an idiot etc. no need to bring skin colour in to it.I never use it myself because I know some/many people find it offensive.
I am still undecided on whether it is hate speech or racist. There are articles arguing both sides.
