If a middle aged black or brown person starts foaming at the mouth about immigration and gay marriage, then they are a Gammon. That is what it means now. It has moved on from the original joke of almost a decade ago.

Yep - A so called Gammon, has to be able to go pink in the face, to resemble Gammon pork. Otherwise it's nonsense.
I cannot think of any derogatory slur aimed at black or brown people that references the colour of their skin and isn't racist hate speech.
Gammon must therefore be entirely unique..
