On an immigrant filming a young girl brandishing an axe and a machete in Dundee...what went on before the filming started?
Dundee is less wealthy than the rest of Britain and rather run down, the sort of place you don't hear much about, full of rough people and kids that get called "feral" - badly behaved but vulnerable children. This would put the little girl in the video and her friend firmly in tier two in the eyes of the modern British authorities.
Very wrong to have such weapons in the street, but why did she have them? The police say they have CCTV showing that the filming immigrant had done no wrong, but crucially, they haven't (yet) released the CCTV. We know full well by now not to trust official police statements on such matters and the Internet is full of theories about what really happened.
Two tier justice is prevalent throughout the country and its institutions now; compare Lucy Connolly with Ricky Jones and the Manchester Airport police attackers. Think of the misleading information initially issued about the Southport and Manchester Airport attacks.
