Charlie Kirk

PIP payments aren’t “contested”, there is no debate. A written appeal is the process.

You can’t even get insults correct :ROFLMAO:

Have a lovely evening :giggle:

Not sure if it's directly related but I got a bit of a shock recently, mrs fillys sister has a son in a very high income bracket, because of their boasting we know it's in the region of 250k to 500k. His wife has a long term illness, not the most debilitating of illnesses but an illness nonetheless and for this reason she had a car paid for on the motability scheme. We've long thought the illness was overplayed, she is what I would describe as lazy.
Anyway, she's one of those people who keeps the local GP extremely busy, she probably has a weekly slot, so, a few months back on her regular timeslot she complained of dizzy spells, the GP said OK we'll monitor that but in the meantime notified DVLC and her licence was withdrawn.

**** me the anger that ensued was unreal, not that she couldn't drive, but that the welfare benefit to drive for free had been removed. This from a couple that live in a 5 bed detatched on a salary well above the median.

Probably unrelated, but they are lefties btw.

From what other posters have said previously, that seems a bit arse about face. I'm not an expert. But I thought the benefit was dependent on whether you needed help getting around. Not on whether you are allowed to drive. So, I don't see how the DVLA cancelling a driving license would get the benefit withdrawn. Presumably, the money could be used on taxis etc. instead if someone can't drive.

I guess she gets the mobility component, the govt doesn’t pay for a car as such, but a portion of their benefit can be used for the Motability scheme.

we know it's in the region of 250k to 500k
Why is the govt giving money to people who don’t need it?

I realise means testing can be expensive, but seriously why the fek is a household with say £500k income getting benefits.

PIP is not means tested, maybe this should be changed.

I don’t quite understand this as you don’t need to be able to drive to get a car on the motobility scheme.
It’s upto to the recipient of the mobility component whether they receive the benefit or use it lease a car.

I’m not sure how she could have lost welfare as a result of not being able to drive, it sounds like they aren’t telling you the real details.

My understanding was that the benefit was not withdrawn per se, just the ability to drive. The millionaire husband said it was pointless claiming if she couldn't drive. Or something like that.

I'm not an expert. But I thought

I do wish you'd stop doing that, people would think more highly of you for it.

I have always imagined that people would appreciate somebody being honest rather than pretending to be an expert when they aren't.

Nonsense. He was shot by a young person who was corrupted by left woke online poison and living with a transgender. The liberals criticise Charlie Kirk because they are anti-christian and deep down his view make them uneasy
I think he was shot by a young person who was corrupted by living in a nation where gun violence is accepted as normal and gun deaths are considered a price worth paying

By Kirk, for one.

"I never though leopards would eat my hubby's face"

Sobs widow of man who supported leopards eating people's faces

There you go, the 2 notch apologists immediately respond. Are you all actually the same person?

Notch is like "look at me, of course I could have debated Charlie Kirk and won" after the man has been shot dead and he knows he's safe from losing a debate!

Notch sticks to online forums where he can use ChatGPT to answer every question he comes across.
Same response as previously from me.
Just using real data, and sound logic to question the more outlandish claims.
Is that not what you would expect in a reasonable discussion forum?
Or do you prefer the typical trolling style of discussion, like your typical more recent post?

Can't beat a good conspiracy theory, especially when it's presented as a meme on TikTok. Intellectual stuff.

Gee, I missed that! Thanks for pointing it out!

No, I'm joking.

It's like explaining stuff to a toddler. Forget a toddler, a dog. Forget a dog, because I like dogs. A leftoid.

Understand this. It's mocking the text messages released by the FBI, making the point that the FBI invented the original messages because, apparently, 'gen-Z' don't talk like that.

The FBI fabricating text messages in order to lie about a murderer's motives = a conspiracy theory.
