He thinks it may need a flush. Im thinking of just going with flush now. All radiators are hit and red on thermal camera. Could it still be abit of sludge causing it ?
Is the banging so bad they have to switch the heating off?
Banging could be due to the boiler control-stat faulty (not opening on temperature rise). I had that many years ago, it banged in HW mode. On CH no problem as it didn't reach the control-stat setpoint
