Bluff and bluster fails.

Based on the criteria that we don’t have to say what we think will happen. I think whatever you had in mind won’t happen.
Its a simple question, even for you

Do you think this is the end, or not!

Try an actual answer for once. I've made it as simple as possible for you

The end of what? I’ve asked you what you think will happen. You say that is irrelevant.

Here are some options:
1 government will apply to lift the corporate veil and prove barrowman traded while knowingly insolvent
2 barrowman will be shown to have knowledge of the fraudulent certificates and be drawn in to the criminal proceedings and possibly suffer confiscation of proceeds from crime.
3 barrowmans, partners and suppliers will be chased.

Which of these do you think will happen, then we can discuss. I think 2 has the best chance.

I don't know much about the criminal case. What are the fraudulent certificates.

I'm not after a discussion on what can or should happen

It was A VERY SIMPLE question that you still struggle with

Do you think this is the end of it ? Its yes, or no.

No need for anymore swerving or closed questions

Assets have been frozen the criminal case is ongoing. It’s clearly not the end of if.

Do I think the government will get their money. - no

The CE marks are just proof that the quality standards are met. The clearly weren't but the DHSC approved the order anyway. Some shadowy senior unnamed figure overruled the civil servants who were refusing to approve the supplier until the sterility standards were established. So government is involved as much as the supplier. Moaner and Barrrow boy were just looking for the contract to be signed, I doubt they were involved in the detail of the arrangements, but seem to be blamed by the public and press.

I wonder how much profit MedPro made on the gowns. At one point in the judgment, there is correspondence where they claim the price will only cover their costs. I am not sure I believe them. The final contract price was £4.88 per gown.

I would guess the garments cost a few pence each to produce, and a lot of the cost is in the shipping, so who knows. The beeb reported there were other companies that were involved in the procurement, so maybe the arrangements are even more complicated than appears to be the case.

see post 182 or 150 on in the judgement. There is dispute about representation, but its clear somebody faked the testing and an allegation of fraud is detailed in 153.

Most were queuing up to help at cost or less. My firm did a fair chunk for AZ FOC, and my CEO who is normally out for every penny, didn't want our teams to be charging commercial rates. I must admit it was refreshing to see firms who normally compete willing to work together.
