I would guess the garments cost a few pence each to produce, and a lot of the cost is in the shipping, so who knows. The beeb reported there were other companies that were involved in the procurement, so maybe the arrangements are even more complicated than appears to be the case.I wonder how much profit MedPro made on the gowns. At one point in the judgment, there is correspondence where they claim the price will only cover their costs. I am not sure I believe them. The final contract price was £4.88 per gown.
