Does anyone know where I can get old Marley dry verges? The code on the one that fell out in a storm is HVS402 995856 (it has a date of 1986 on it).
Marley now stock universal fit ones but they aren’t compatible with the ones already on our roof. I think they have been on there a long time but don’t know how long as we only moved here earlier this year.
Thanks

We skipped a load of left and right hand (brown) ones in August. :censored:

Can they not be made compatible by modifying one of them, or one of the existing ones, or even just screwing one to the other?

If I was stuck I would, for example, move all the existing ones to join up in one run of old that finishes before it reaches the eaves, take one of the old ones down, screw a new one onto it and put it back up and continue the run in new ones.

No visitor to your house will ever look up, let alone remark "oh look, the last 7 dry verge caps are a slightly different shape to the other 23" but if it will forever bother you, the caps are so cheap that all you're looking at to replace the entire run is about 20 quid in materials plus some time, and if the wind ripped those ones off, the rest may well be ready to come down too

No. All manu's are specific. Those old Marley ones are horrible. They weren't nice to remove and would have been 'stubborn' to fit. Plus they go brittle. Old gear like that is not user friendly.
