The MOD look out for you whilst you are serving, they are not a care company to look after you once your service has ended. Right or wrong that is the brutal truth, the MOD have a compensation scheme but it is difficult to get any help other than that from them.

I've posted numerous times of the pains I go to to get free ladies feminine products through vouchers to put in the food bank collection boxes.

Now, it’s alright you saying you care for the poor and I don’t but I’ve shown you just a few examples of what I have actually done for the poor, can you now return the favour and show me some posts where you have actually done something about it yourself?

I'd heard in the past about large communities of people in Bristol living in vans. Since my foray into the world of campervans having made my own I've looked at quite a few facebook groups, vanlife UK, vanlife cornwall. Initially it seemed to be a social thing, organised rallies and meets but the more I read, the more staggering it becomes just how many people are living in vans full time.

It's an international phenomenon, some out of lifestyle choice, others with no choice. Some buy old buses, and coaches to convert, to live in year round, others just for leisure use, some buy ambulances to convert. One site I used to frequent in Wales, had an old American motorhome on it, year round, and lived in - he claimed to be living there, out of choice.

One company I worked for, I would often end up working way-out in the wilds, far from civilisation and hotels. I persuaded them to buy a caravan, which allowed me to stay local to the sites, until the work was completed, usually a couple of week stay. It worked out rather well.
