It’s not fair, is it?

I think you'll find those that don't care about ex servicemen are the MOD and successive governments...

You don't get it, so you put all the blame on so called 'lefties'!
The MOD look out for you whilst you are serving, they are not a care company to look after you once your service has ended. Right or wrong that is the brutal truth, the MOD have a compensation scheme but it is difficult to get any help other than that from them.

you wouldnt give a monkeys if it wasnt an opportunity to blame migrants

I have never ever ever seen you care about any form of poverty whatsoever

here is what Mottie thinks about people on benefits or need to use a foodbank:

yeah Mottie just says they are "sickness scroungers"

the truth is never far below the surface
And I stand by my statement that because of their deviousness, many benefit and sickness scroungers don’t get caught but WTF is that to do with our own homeless people dying?

Mottie got a load of money from the govt during covid that he didnt need.............that couldve been given to the homeless
Quite right. I didn’t ’need, it. Neither did the millions of people that got furlough pay 'need' all of it. What has 'need' to do with entitlement though? Do you 'need' your £150k of premium bonds? Do you 'need' every penny that comes into your household each month? No? Let’s see you give it away to the needy then.

you dont mention that the vast majority of people on benefits are genuine..............so you were deliberately putting out the narrative that ALL the people on benefits are devious scroungers

I've posted numerous times of the pains I go to to get free ladies feminine products through vouchers to put in the food bank collection boxes.

Now, it’s alright you saying you care for the poor and I don’t but I’ve shown you just a few examples of what I have actually done for the poor, can you now return the favour and show me some posts where you have actually done something about it yourself?

So what percentage of people on benefits are scroungers?
No idea but as I have said, I’ve seen many examples. Can you show me the percentage of those on benefits that are not scroungers or shall I be like you and just pick a number out of the air? Is there some data somewhere? No? Well stop asking such bloody stupid questions.

Any luck finding examples of your posts where you have helped the poor yet?

So if it's entitled it's ok?

Unless it's somebody or something you don't agree with?

Is that a fair summary?

How about asking Notch if it’s not okay.

While you’re at it, ask him if he's offered anything to the homeless other than crocodile tears.

I'd heard in the past about large communities of people in Bristol living in vans. Since my foray into the world of campervans having made my own I've looked at quite a few facebook groups, vanlife UK, vanlife cornwall. Initially it seemed to be a social thing, organised rallies and meets but the more I read, the more staggering it becomes just how many people are living in vans full time.

It's an international phenomenon, some out of lifestyle choice, others with no choice. Some buy old buses, and coaches to convert, to live in year round, others just for leisure use, some buy ambulances to convert. One site I used to frequent in Wales, had an old American motorhome on it, year round, and lived in - he claimed to be living there, out of choice.

One company I worked for, I would often end up working way-out in the wilds, far from civilisation and hotels. I persuaded them to buy a caravan, which allowed me to stay local to the sites, until the work was completed, usually a couple of week stay. It worked out rather well.
