They were serving Policemen. two were constables, and the third was their immediate superior. So yes, they could be classed as thieves and thugs. They did a runner after the meal.
I paid, I apologised for my 'friends' behaviour.

I did meet up with one of them at another time at a party. He had handcuffed a girl's wrist to her ankle, and he thought it was funny. The girl didn't.
I threatened to call the police and explain the problem, if he didn't remove it..
I remember the conversation to this day.
When I threatened to call the police, he said, "I am the police", I replied, "if you don't start behaving like one, I will call them."

Brigadier copied the link to begin towards the end, (at 3.02 to be exact), not at the beginning.
Given your computer literacy, I wouldn't expect you to know the difference.

You would have had to intentionally watched the video from the beginning, not from the start point determined by Brigadier.

So now you can add lies and deceit to your character traits.

Yes there is a difference, I've never been charged with being drunk and disorderly.
