It was a private fund raising event.
They can more or less set their own rules.

And as I said, if it had been a women only race, no-one would have batted an eyelid.

His response to the mosques ban on woman and girls “ there is no room for criticism “ because the event was about celebration ???

Rahman posted pics on social media where he was centre stage at the run dishing out medals to the winners

The event was a private affair, and nothing to do with the local council.
If the Mayor was invited to present awards, that's not unusual.

There have been many weird presenters giving awards, such as Phillip Schofield, Jimmy Savile, etc.
But they're not Muslims so you won't be interested in their presentations.

Find an example of your chosen hate-target demographic doing the same sort of wrong things as your 'I love the British' demographic do, criticise them for it, making out that it's because they have whatever characteristics you hate (skin colour, religion, culture, etc), and then when shown that none of those characteristics are necessary for dong wrong, allege that anybody interested in the truth hates Britain.

It's almost as if you think that unless you lie you can't be patriotic.

for religious reasons. they are entitled to follow their religion. just as everybody should be. the day we revoke religious freedoms is not a day i want to see. did anybody ask the women if they wanted to take part? i assume they don't because they are muslim too and they also follow the same religion. you wouldn't expect a christian to do a run on a sunday, or a jew to do one during shabbat.
