It'll get dark there later than in UK. I suspect it'll get dark about 20:00hrs. Whereas it got dark in UK about 18:30hrs.
So you get an extra 1.5 hours of daylight.

He seem ok! It’s obviously an average play on words- it doesn’t really work and should come with someone putting their coat on.

You’ll be ok, going with the wind. Once you are in the med, so the apparent will be very low.
