Another 'error' over housing by a Labour cabinet member.

These figures make me laugh.
Italian people would be very glad if their politicians stole only such sums ..
I remember one Russian Oligarch saying that he was amazed how cheap it was to buy political influence in the UK.

Yet those same people are complaining Labour are failing after a year
If Labour had have campaigned on a "We won’t do nothing other than blame the other lot" instead of "We'll put it right from the get go" do you think people would have voted for them?

No

That's the problem with our 1st past the post politics.

But if they are doing nothing then how come they are getting that wrong ?

I'd be more concerned if someone in charge of the entire economy was spending any attention whatsoever on such trivialities.
That's what we have depts, assistants, advisors for.

Do you not think that these people should set higher standards when in office?

Especially as they are often responsible for seeing the laws

Which is not the same as knowing it all.

That's why the transaction was delegated.

And I stand by my thoughts in #9 of this thread.

Companies have "pre-pack" arrangements, so that they can fold, flip, and restart over a matter of hours.
It's SOP in some sectors.

So why can't our civil service have the same pre-pack arrangements, to stop these oversights once and for all?

Are they utterly inept, or is it a deliberate decision to leave pitfall after pitfall, to catch out people and generate some deflectionary smoke?

You would have thought that the “husband” would have been across this every day, to ensure it was done. It’s not like he’s short of brain cells.

I would have thought that having the licence should have been in place before the tenant moved in, like the requirement for a gas safety check or an EICR

I dunno whether to answer you because you once gave me an answer I didn’t like. That’s what we do now, isn’t it?
No need to reply

And you ok with bullying and lies ? Turn a blind eye to them and it's ok ?
