Did my builder do my roof incorrectly?

We recently had some work done on our roof, replacing some rafters and lats as well as installing a waterproofmembrane. The photo shows the finished roof, there's so much cement up on the ridges and it looks nothing like any other roofs around or how ours previously looked. (Photo attached)
We have been having some pretty heavy leaks all over the roof but we are quite sure it's coming from the ridges, perhaps through cracks in the cement. Anyway, is this roof done incorrectly? Or is this another way to do it?

Yes, he has cocked it up, he has turned the ridges round, and now the water is running to the joint.
