Hello

Have a 12' gate with ring ends bolted onto it. (please see photo)

What do I need to attached on to that to make the gate swing and to be able to attach to a concreet wall please

Hinges.
Variety of styles.

A good tip is to put three greased large stainless washers over the pin before lifting the gate on. They prevent wear and squeaking, and prevent the galvanising or paint being rubbed off.

Is your concrete wall strong enough to cope with the weight of a 12foot gate and the leverage of some kid riding on it as it opens?

If it is for fixing above plate to your wall, I would suggest some long threaded bar, resin fixed, deep into your concrete wall.

im making the mold for it out of conctete and balas in a 45 gallon drum

Sounds good.
Will there be foundations and will the drum of concrete be connected to these foundations (ie rebar?)

Asking as the levereage of a 12' gate can move a lot of weight.

It is likely that your gate will easily move a free standing 45gallon drum of concrete.

DIYnot has started putting a page between links in a post and where the link goes, in an effort to funnel you to some other site that gives them a kickback. I dont mind that they're trying to raise some coin to help pay for the service but i strongly dislike that their page looks like one of those spammy ones where you accidentally spell the website wrong and get some crap domain-squatter page that tries to sell you a load of irrelevant guff, just because you typed screqfix instead, all the while harvesting your bank details

The link you want is usually the middle one. You could also google for "gatemate tool station" if you don't trust the spammy DIYnot page

No foundations as there is no digging allowed
I hope the concrete mold from a 45 gallon drum will be enough to take the weight without it topping over

Got it thanks! To be honest I want something on a long rod that will go though my 45 gallon concreate drum, for strength

I wonder if this will be long enough to be strong enough when the cement goes off
