Weather

I was more thinking of a 4 hour working day  but your plan could work.
Daylight working time directive sounds great but the only problem is we would have a 14 hour working day in July ;)

you southerners are such fannies - it's january, it snows, it gets frosty

We would beat you northerners in a fight.
leeds got a good thrashing up on tyneside last night 4 - 3 (and leeds is well down south, may be not full shandy supping territory, but they're heading that way )

Everywhere is tropical compared to Newcastle.
I was in the wetherspoons in South Shields in August. They recon Newcastle nancys run from Berwick Rangers.

one of those events this morning where it has rained on top of frozen ground, I nearly set my neck going out to feed the birds - and we are now watching wood pigeons falling over on the patio, they come into land, do a massive skid then fall over

worryingly though, I'm abut to head off in my van (if I can get to it)
