My go to for AA batteries is the Panasonic Eneloop pro but what is the next best choice for C battery size as you cannot get the Eneloop in C
Thanks.

Buy a C adaptor and use AA batteries that you have.

Think they are called AA to C battery converter or something like that

Yes I have some of those and have used them - its only a torch but very powerful 10w LED that takes 3 C batteries.

I don't know the answer but.
You can use one protected
26650 lithium battery for 3xc batteries I read.
I used one 18650 in a old torch a few years ago after swapping bulb for led super bright.

Lithium lasts ages

Might just stick to what I am doing, using the AA rechargeable in the C holder adapters.
I remember rechargeable Powerex batteries were a good make when I was doing some research about 10 years ago and I brought the powerex Charger, PRO 8 Channel charger.
