They made bad investments …probably Tory snouts in the trough


The council has made several high-risk property investments, including:
  • Two skyscrapers (one residential and one hotel).
  • A £6.4 million loan to a local private school.
  • £2 million spent on acquiring pubs

The chief executive was Julie Fisher who has worked in both private business and public sector…..so,I’m not sure your claim “we need more business experience” is true.
 
There's a lot of anti labour stuff in here.

But it's not the government holding the elections back.

And a lot (most ?) of the elections would hurt the Tories. So it's not so clear cut for labour to want them delayed

But let's not get bogged down with facts.

In the meantime can anybody point to a now reform run council and show all the savings not cutbacks they've made?

Just like you won’t admit you voted for Boris Johnson who made a total mess.

I guarantee if Reform win, they will make an absolute mess and you will deny ever supporting them.

Well , not strictly true as ALL the councillors voted in favour of the development AND absolutely none of them reported ANY wrong doing or miss practice during the development process

That includes our now MP
