I agree. I have a Welsh SIL, I don't have a problem with Welsh, or Scots, or french, German, Spanish etcOk, but I didn’t know that. You replied to me, I replied to you.
England is 1/4 of Britain. People who say “I’m British” really mean English.

He meant itYour #13 was rather ambiguous. You said that the core argument was based on a 'very reasonable premise', which seemed to suggest that you agreed with it.

Fair point; therefore for "England" read "United Kingdom". This is only a point of pedantry though - Steve Laws is not against the Welsh, Scottish or Irish. Have you watched the full-length video?Your #13 was rather ambiguous. You said that the core argument was based on a 'very reasonable premise', which seemed to suggest that you agreed with it.
Hilarious that this chimp thinks he is the master race. The interviewer makes him look so stupid.
He meant it
Just wants to backtrack because he realises the foolishness of that blokes opinion

And look at the people who watch it.The interviewee is a very sad little man and a Grade A moron. Much of what he says is contradictory. I can't blame anyone who watched it for getting confused.

It’s not the country; it’s the personI agree. I have a Welsh SIL, I don't have a problem with Welsh, or Scots, or french, German, Spanish etc

Do you really think he wants the Scottish, Welsh and Irish out of England? It's not a point of pedantry. This whole thread has been about the difference between being British and being English. The interviewee is obsessed with English nationalism. I have properly watched some bits of the full video and skimmed through the rest. The man is a moron.
Is it not worth a full watch ?It's not a point of pedantry. This whole thread has been about the difference between being British and being English. Is it not worth a full watch ?

If you do, you have completely misunderstood him, or you are deliberately changing the subject (as I would expect Carmen and co to do).
He wants muslims, Jews and Albanians (and various others) deporting. Apart from Jews, I agree with that.
I’ll have a look later this week. I’ve got a pressing issue with my phone charger at the momentYes. He explains actual plans for mass deportations, which mainstream politicians never do.
Have you ever noticed that the Labour and Conservative Parties proposals for deporting people never include deporting people?
I’ve sort of cleared that up. A lot of people say British when they mean English, and the other way around. He is very contradictory. At the start he says he wants anybody who isn't English to leave England. With no exceptions. He then very clearly distinguishes English ethnicity from Scottish, Welsh and Irish ethnicities. The only logical interpretation is that he means Scottish, Welsh and Irish have to leave; because obviously they are not English. But when pushed later, he starts to change his tune. He says some Europeans are OK because they are similar to us. But he seems to say he doesn't want Germans. And he then goes on to say that he definitely doesn't want Albanians. Basically, he is too stupid to make a coherent argument.
