Drills needed please help

Some of my work involves shut downs so nowhere to plug a drill in
Again, fair enough (that's very rarely a consideration for me). However, I could today buy a new (maybe fairly small/light) 12V cordless one for the same sort of price I mentioned - and, indeed, Screwfix is currently offering a 'refurb' one for less than £40, hence not much more than one-tenth of the cost of the Milwaukee one you kinked to.

when I was doing mu level2 I was shadowing a couple of sparkies told then I had my own drillset. Pulled out my black and decker they p1ssed themselves laughing at it. They told me never to take that on a site if I ever was to work on a site.
Site cred is very much a thing, particularly when new.

It's a very different equation buying tools from a newly qualifide's PAYE wages to the turnover of a self-employed guy 20 or 40years down the line.

Nevertheless I propose the following rigid demarcation ;

Plumbers; Milwaukee
Sparks : Makita
Chippies : DeWalt

Bosch (professional range) acceptable to all the above

Very expensive Chippies; Festo (how effing much?)
---------Plumbers------- Hilti ( --ditto-----)

Anyone with experience enough to disagree; well, you already know better, don't you? ;) :)

Well I'd like a fiver for everytime any one of the above trades were happy to cadge a loan of my Homebase, 7.2V Bosch, B&D when theirs went flat :) certainly be plenty to buy a number of the above more expensive products:ROFLMAO:
