Know much about Mondeos?

The wet belt setup on mondeo is not the same as the fiesta's, the oil pump is the only thig running it, it has a cambelt for engine.

2.0l fuel efficiency and emissions are not good for its class.

Depends on the engine and it's age

There's warnings online about the auto ones. Maybe it's over played or maybe you were lucky.

Dont think its overplayed, i own a Ford C-Max Auto with the earlier 4 speed auto box, i believe the later 2011 onward PowerShift auto boxes gave a bit of aggro to a lot of people who did not keep up gearbox services. I belong to a Ford forum and read loads of probs with the Powershift box!!

I think it depends on the model. As I stated before the 4sp JATCO in our 2ltr. Mk3 did 84k in 9 years without any attention & the car had done 86K in 4 years before we bought it. The 'box may have been serviced by it's previous owner(s) but no such indication in the service records.

I agree Powershite 'boxes do have a bad reputation, but then they are not what I call 'proper' autos.

This annoyingly has happened to my VW Sharon, is it fixable or is it a new windscreen?
