How many more U turns will this bloody government make?

Starmer just now on PMQs trying bill 6 interest rate cuts as a positive labour result:oops: :ROFLMAO:

At least Starmer has the good sense to test the water first.

Try approaching the work that you do for your customers like that and see how well they judge you. "Yeah, I'll try putting the wall up like that, but if it doesn't look right we can try something else."

:ROFLMAO:

This is only the fecking UK they're supposed to be running (down) - you'd think some competence and foresight would be a prerequisite for a PM. Have to go back as far as Thatcher for that - the lady wasn't for turning.

Rachel Reeves is on record as introducing the largest tax rises - as you expect from Labour. Nigel Lawson is on record as introducing the largest tax cuts, because he was a proper old-school conservative.
And look at how we are suffering from all those cutbacks.

Cost us all more in the long run

False economy

I'm not seeing the Builder/Politician analogy link sorry....?

Now had you said architect and his proposals, then that would have made more sense. You perhaps didn't know, but there is a process, between a customer and a designer or architect, whereby said professional drafts proposals and the customer agrees to the proposal they see fit. The architect does all the 'testing of the water' for us.

I'm glad you brought it up though, even if you were misguided.
