He did say this:

Did not say all ICE are immune.
Has not specifically granted any immunity to ICE.

His error was stating absolute immunity instead of qualified immunity, which is not new and not specific to ICE.

Hence.

The ICE thugs have been given immunity from prosecution.
Is a lie.

It is the circumstances that may give him qualified immunity from civil liability. But you know this.

Vance also said this:

The precedent here is very simple. You have a federal law enforcement official engaging in federal law enforcement action. That’s a federal issue. That guy is protected by absolute immunity.
