It's over..who will take over ?

Lets also be CRYSTAL CLEAR.

Starmer did know that Mandelson had stayed at Epstein’s house post-conviction when he approved the appointment , but Starmer has insisted that he did not understand the extent of the relationship or implications at the time.

Please be honest people. Is that acceptable? Starmer is not the till boy, he is our PM.

Yvette Cooper might be seen as a safe(ish) pair of hands.
After scraping the barrel as thoroughly as possible, she'd be the tiny bit left trapped in a corner.

They're all equally awful. I'm just hoping there's someone tucked away quietly that we haven't heard from, who's going to leap forward and save Labour from utter humiliation.

Starmer has only ever selected people who are worse than him as his cabinet. They're all hand-picked for being useless but obedient. Hopefully there's someone talented who Starmer overlooked because they'd be a threat to his hopeless leadership.

This thread, started last night, decided that Starmmer is a gonner. Wishful thinking. This is far from a Thatcher poll tax moment or a Borris Covid cock up. The May elections will be the next test.

For the Starmers in this group that feel hurt they were being lied to, Blip is your typical Trump/'Far rage' Tory (Thatcher) 're form' hater, they all sip from the same plastic cup.

Anyway... there are yet to be discovered Amazonian tribes who knew he would spin it this way.

And whilst i mentioned i would ignore you due to displaying an intent to argue for the sake of arguing, i will respond to 'Boris's covid cockups', despite this being unchartered territory and relatively unique in such a challenge, the main petty repetitive argument was he was seen to be having a party and sipping a beer after hours, i still find desperate and pathetic, you'd argue they should have been cut some slack and be allowed to vent some pressure at such a testing time. Yes he should go down if he's in any way linked to the PPE scandal and bad decisions on responding to immediate lockdown recommendations for the general public, and or ignoring advisories around covid mitigation, but omg that was desperate, if you believe that was one of them, you are part of the problem.

Yes, it appears that he's currently seen as a useful idiot by the party. His purpose is to take the blame for the inevitable car crash that May's elections will be, then they can move on with a shiny new untarnished leader. With a bit more creative election-cancelling they may even get through to 2029 without any of those inconvenient elections getting in the way.

If they switched PM to god himself then they'd still get trashed in May. So I doubt anyone would want the job right now.

He's walled himself in, he appears to have control of the judiciary and police. His turning against Mandelson should demonstrate to the rest that he can throw people under the bus if they get in his way.

He's going to take a lot of shifting, I'm starting to wonder if even the 2029 election won't affect him, for reasons yet to be decided.

lol this is so true, you can see he quakes around Alpha males or females. If we had a strain gauge attached to his sphinkter and an Osciloscope when he's standing next to Trump or Chemi it would be a glorious display of high frequency sign waves.

No hate, just pointing out some facts.
Trumpf supporters are like battered wives who keep returning to the domestic home. You see it when he does things like threatening to invade Green land. There is the initial realisation that this country is under direct threat, followed by a sense of relief that from the Far rage right he isn’t a complete nutter. Trumpf and his Epsteen allies are a huge danger to Europe and this country.

Trying to make the latest Epstein revelations about Trump is such a massive stretch. On this occasion Trump's ego kept him well away from the chap.

Meanwhile Starmers hiring choices are leaving people to question his judgement in exactly the same way as people did with Bojo. Its not like Mandleson didn't have form.

They were best mates for more than a decade, whilst Trump is a rapist, assaults women and has a penchant for young girls and is a grifter.

I'd say Trump/Epstein is a perfect match. I hope when the MAGA morons lose bigly in the mid-terms that Dem congress get their hands on the unredacted stuff.

All of it.
